Team Maggie’s Dream provides financial assistance to young adults with cancer who need fertility preservation. Their mission is to ensure no young adult has to forgo the chance to build a family due to cost. The nonprofit offers grants up to $2500 to help cover expenses like egg and sperm freezing. Applicant’s must be between the ages of 15-37.

Eligibility 

Who – US citizen/Residents age 15-37 receiving treatment for cancer who are uninsured, underinsured, or denied fertility preservation coverage. 

When – Rolling application

Awarded – Up to $2500 

Total Awarded  – “Hundreds of young adults have received grants” per their website 

Additional Documentation Required – Proof of financial need (ie: income or insurance status), medical documentation (showing cancer diagnosis and recommendation for fertility preservation). Paragraph explaining why the grant is needed.
