Project Koru offers free, week‑long survivor-led adventure therapy, for young adult cancer survivors. Their survivor-led model integrates adventure, community, and therapeutic support—helping participants reclaim confidence, build body image, and find purpose beyond cancer. (Please note they have at least a year long wait list at this time).

Camp Eligibility 

Who – US survivors aged 19-39 (at time of camp) and finished with active treatment within 3 months of camp

Where – Historically Costa Rica surf camps or in the UP of Michigan

Length of camp – A week

Cost – Free just pay to get to/from camp

Additional Documentation Required – Once accepted doctor clearance required
