Description

Funded by the Northwestern Mutual Foundation, this scholarship supports childhood cancer survivors by helping them continue their education and pursue their college goals. Each year, twenty-five students receive financial assistance to cover costs for the upcoming academic year, with the option to renew for one additional year.

Scholarship Eligibility

Who –Childhood cancer survivors age 25 or under who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Enrolled or planning to enroll full-time in an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational/technical school with high school seniors or current college students with a minimum 2.5 GPA

When – Applications open annually Varies by year but typically fall and spring

Awarded – $5,000 (renewable for one additional year)

Total Awarded – 25 scholarships awarded annually

Additional Documentation Required – Proof of enrollment, transcripts, documentation of cancer survivorship, financial need information, and any required essays or recommendations
