Description

The National Collegiate Cancer Foundation (NCCF) supports young adults whose lives have been impacted by cancer and who remain committed to pursuing higher education. Through $1,000 competitive scholarships, NCCF recognizes resilience, determination, and academic ambition among survivors and those who have lost a parent or guardian to cancer.

Scholarship Eligibility

Who – 18-35 year old US Citizen or permeant resident cancer survivor or current patient attending or planning to attend an accredited college, university or vocational institution in pursuit of an associate, bachelor, master’s, doctorate or certificate.

When – Applications historically open in March;

Awarded – $1,000

Total Awarded – Not publicly specified

Additional Documentation Required – Proof of U.S. citizenship or permanent residency, confirmation of enrollment or planned enrollment in an accredited institution, essays, letters of recommendation, financial need information, and documentation supporting survivor or bereavement status (requirements vary by program)
