Epic Experience is a nonprofit organization that empowers adult cancer survivors and “thrivers” to live beyond cancer by offering free week-long adventure camps and a range of community-building programs. Through outdoor activities, shared challenges, peer connection, and continued support, participants rediscover strength, joy, and resilience after diagnosis and treatment.

Support Type:

Free week-long outdoor adventure camps (summer and winter) for adults diagnosed with cancer.

Regional survivorship meetups and one-day events to build community and connection.

Virtual programs: exercise classes, online gatherings, and ThriveVR virtual reality experiences.

Podcast & storytelling: Campfires of Hope shares survivor stories, education, and inspiration.

Camp Eligibility 

Who-U.S and Canadian cancer patients aged 18+ (including beyond AYA) 

Where- 3 hours west of Denver 

Length of camp – A week

Cost– Free except for travel to camp
