Dan’s House of Hope provides a “home away from home” for adolescents and young adults (AYAs) battling cancer. Located near Houston’s Texas Medical Center, this 501(c)(3) hospitality house offers free lodging, emotional support, and a caring community to reduce isolation and financial stress. A top ten organization.
Your House for Hope Program: Offers lodging for up to four families at a time with private rooms, shared living space, kitchen, art room, media room, and more. Stays typically range from 5 nights up to 2 months. To stay at the house patient guests must be 18 to 39 years old. Caregivers must be 21 or older.
Support for Caregivers: Virtual “Caregiver Coffee” meetings. (A favorite of Julia’s Husband Mitch)
