BRCAStrong is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting women before, during, and after a breast or gynecological cancer diagnosis — whether they are previvors (at high risk), currently in treatment (“thriver”), or survivors. Through a sisterhood of shared experience, education, practical assistance, and emotional solidarity, BRCAStrong strives to ease the burdens of diagnosis and treatment, restore dignity and hope, and ensure no woman faces cancer alone.

Main Programs & Activities

Pre-Mastectomy Care Packages: For women preparing for mastectomy or lumpectomy — includes robes with drain pockets, shirts compatible with drains, and post-mastectomy bras to help make the surgery process more dignified and comfortable.

Gynecological Care Packages: For women diagnosed with gynecological cancers, offering care packages tailored to their needs.

Post-Mastectomy Garments & Prosthetics: For women recovering from surgery — garments, prosthetics, and recovery essentials provided at no cost when recipients face financial hardship or lack insurance.

Care & Support for Previvors, Thrivers & Survivors: Whether a woman is at risk (previvor), in active treatment (thriver), or post-treatment (survivor), BRCAStrong offers emotional support, information, advocacy, and community through all stages.

Community, Education & Advocacy: Through online and in-person support, awareness campaigns (including for hereditary cancers and BRCA mutations), medical panels, peer support networks, informational resources, and sisterhood-building.
