Idaho based River Discovery organizes white-water rafting, kayaking, paddleboarding, and other outdoor adventures to help cancer survivors (and their loved ones) heal mentally, physically, and emotionally. Through time in nature, community connection, and shared experiences, participants rebuild confidence and reclaim joy beyond diagnosis.

What makes River Discovery unique is the option to bring a caregiver or family on specific trips. They also operate on a lottery system and offer winter trips as well.

Camp Eligibility 

Who-Cancer patients, survivors. Selection for camps is based on a lottery system.

Where- Mostly Idaho 

Length of camp – 3-5 days 

Cost– $65-$75 dollars. Must provide own travel to camp 

Additional Documentation Required– Once accepted doctor clearance required
