Ari’s Bears offers a $1,000 annual scholarship to undergraduate students who either are childhood cancer survivors or siblings of survivors. Founded to honor Ariella Stein, who delivered teddy bears to hospitalized children during her cancer treatment, the scholarship recognizes academic achievement, resilience, and community service related to childhood cancer.
Who– A high school senior or college student with a 2.5 minimum GPA and currently enrolled in college

Additional Documentation Required – Proof of enrollment in an accredited college or university. Transcripts showing a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. Proof of a cancer diagnosis in self or sibling. Demonstrated community service in the area of childhood cancer. Two letters of recommendation from non-relatives. A high resolution photo of just yourself submitted electronically.
