Elephants and Tea is a nonprofit media brand created to support adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, and loved ones by sharing real stories, fostering connection, and providing community through conversation and creative expression. Elephants and Tea publishes a quarterly magazine and ongoing digital content written by and for the AYA cancer community, offering perspectives, insight, and encouragement to help individuals know they are not alone in their cancer journey. They have a great page about with a list of Programs and Events that lists most of the AYA communities events/programs happening currently.
Quarterly AYA Cancer Magazine:
Elephants and Tea publishes a quarterly print magazine written for the AYA cancer community — sharing honest stories, reflections, and perspectives from real patients, survivors, and caregivers.
Digital Content & Weekly Stories:
The Elephants and Tea website features regular digital content — including essays, personal narratives, and themes that help readers connect to others’ experiences and feel understood in their own journey.
Community Events & Programs:
Elephants and Tea organizes and promotes both online and in-person events, including happy hours, educational conversations, webinars, meetups, and Magazine Release Events that foster community among AYA individuals and their allies. They also sponsor and help put on Cancer Camp.
Partner Programs & Collaboration:
The organization highlights programming from partner AYA cancer groups and wellness organizations, expanding access to events, support groups, and community resources.
